Signs and symptoms of bleeding

When accidents happen, it’s important to recognise signs of bleeding. Knowing what to look for can help drivers respond quickly and provide necessary first aid to those bleeding.

Here are some common signs and symptoms to keep an eye out for:

  • Blood coming out from a cut or wound
  • Feeling dizzy or weak
  • Feeling lightheaded or faint

Other physical symptoms include:

  • Skin looking pale or feeling cold
  • Fast heartbeat
  • Feeling nauseous or vomiting
