Course
First Aid for FIFO Workers

FIFO (fly-in-fly-out) workers are posted to remote areas to work away from their homes and families for weeks, or even months, at a time. The highest numbers are concentrated in the mining industry in Western Australia, where around 60,000 FIFO workers are based. The isolated nature of the job places FIFO workers at greater risk of mental health issues including anxiety and depression.
This course is designed for FIFO workers and those in close contact with them.
